The Must Have Pregnancy Books

When you find out you are pregnant you will have the urge to buy every baby book out there. When I got pregnant I went out and bought 9 books! Most of them collected dust, but these three books I could not put down! Jenny Mccarthy’s Belly Laughs, What to Expect When You Are Expecting, and Baby Bargains were all tremendous reads. One captures the humor of pregnancy, another one faces the cold hard realities of the process, and the last one helps save the all important dollar when you need it most.

What to Expect When You Are Expecting, Fourth Edition

This book is a must have. This book is the holy grail of pregnancy literature. It is consistently a New York Times bestseller, with 90% of pregnant women end up reading this book. It is now in its fourth edition, and has had every section rewritten to help incorporate readers questions since the first three releases. This book will guide you through the entire pregnancy process, and answer any questions you may have. This book does exactly what the title says. What to Expect When You Are Expecting is a no brainer. Click here for to read some other reviews.

Jenny Mccarthy’s Belly Laughs: The Naked Truth About Pregnancy

and Childbirth

This is one of the funniest books I have read in a long time. It literally made me laugh out loud. I could not put this book down after I started reading it, and I read it in one entire sitting. Some might say this book is crude, but it really just tells it like it is. This book is kind of like the What to Expect When Your Expecting Books, but without all the medical jargon, and from a regular persons point of view. I would highly recommend this reading material to anyone who is going through the pregnancy process. Click here to check out some more reviews.

Baby Bargains

I couldn’t have survived without this book. The cost of raising a baby from infancy until they are seventeen is averaged at $250,000! Add that in together with this troubled economy, and you could be in over your head if not prepared. I heard about this book when I was reading a blog, and decided I would check it out a little further. The reviews were tremendous, so I decided to go ahead and make the purchase. It arrived in two days, and I started digging in to help make my baby purchases. Not only does it helps you save a ton of money, but it also gives you loads of tips on what features you should be looking for when buying. They do hundreds of reviews on the products, so you know exactly which ones to purchase, and maybe even more importantly, which ones to stay away from. The book takes a real in depth look at each product, and devotes an entire chapter to each different product category. Click here to see what others are saying about this book.
